Buckeye's pleated sediment filters provide outstanding filtration and an exceptional value.  They outperform wound, spun, melt blown because the cartridges are pleated and provide significantly more surface area, and lower pressure drop.  The filters are made from 100% synthetic media, and our pleated filters 5 micron and larger are washable.  For best results direct spray from a garden hose into pleats to dislodge sediment.  As an option, the sediment can be allowed to dry, and can be removed with gentle brushing.

The 10 Micron Pleated Sediment Filter measures 20" in length and 4.5" in diameter, nominal.  Maximum recommended flow is 25 gpm when used in a Big Blue or Max Flow housing.  Other sizes are available - contact Buckeye for further information.
