Works as expected, but there a few things to be aware of.
Please be aware that there are two versions of the valve which look similar. One runs on 110 VAC, and one on 24 VAC [the voltage of most booster pumps]. I have some of each, and have not seen a way to determine the difference by looking at them. It would be nice if they were stamped so how.
Make sure you tighten down on the fittings. They come just about hand-tight and will often leak. Just get a wrench and tighten a bit further if needed.
They tend to run warm (the 110 VAC version in particular). The blue part will become warm to the touch and the screw on the top may become hot. This is due to the nature of the electromagnetic energy of a solenoid. Don't be alarmed, I haven't had one "overheat" just yet. I've run it continuously for 3 hours a day for a few days without any issue.
