This is the top-shelf Chlorine Grabber with a pore size of only 0.5 micron! This carbon block should be preceded by a sediment filter of 1 micron or smaller. Made with a polypropylene wrap, end caps, and protective netting with neoprene gaskets. All materials are NSF certified. Chlorine capacity varies by the size of the carbon block:
Higher chlorine capacities will be realized with slower flow. For reference, flow through a 75 gpd RO system with a 4:1 waste water to purified water ratio (20% recovery) is approximately 0.3 gpm.
Alternate Part No.: H00994 (20" x 4.5")

I have used this filter in both my regular drinking water and for my fish tank. It has been amazing. It has served our family for more than one year...and I only recently changed it because I thought it was good to change it out. However, it was still removing all the chlorine taste from our water. Through the years, Buckeye Hydro has had amazing service, advice, and extremely high quality products.

I have used this filter for the last 2 years and it takes out so much of the chlorine it's unbelievable. I worked as a maintenance sky for our park and I knew the water is treated with chlorine. You get a long life out of these filters and I even experimented to wash them out and I got Extra 2 months out of them. Buckeye hydro is hands down the best place to get filters and all your water Needs.
